Today's goals:

1. Remain awake and aware of my grumpy, judgmental mood: notice, allow and still refrain from acting out.

2. Finish the evaluation section.

3. Move a little closer to meeting harmonious household goals.

4. Accept progress; let the urge for perfection pass by.

Good enough.

I feel better already: one of my students saw this and texted "Great big hugs and I am sending CALMING energy your way".

When I responded, "Thank you, darling. I appreciate it so much," he replied, "No problem: I need you happy and calm."

That's one very smart man, who clearly understands the concept of enlightened self-interest.

Now I'm amused.
