I'm at a ritual tonight and can't answer texts. I'll answer tomorrow. This is really cool/ I'm told this will be a relaxed and communicative ritual where you are encouraged to ask lots of questions and there's a lot of discussion. Perfect for me!

It's all about "kindling fire." Which we don't do on the Sabbath or Holidays, as it's considered work.
So the short answer, is "leave the lights on for 25 hours, use a crock pot, and/or pre-program it."
Dad made horseradish yesterday. I have to go make Seder happen at 4 PMish tonight with my parents.
And, at 37, I'm the youngest, and have a 'special' part. Sighs.
