I am at the Abundant Life Church in New Brunswick. All around me there are people crooning, walking, murmuring and praying.

I am tearing up.

It is so beautiful. My heart is so full, watching these beautiful people sing and pray unashamed and unafraid. We are all so beautiful in the moments we connect to the divine.

I am always thankful that the Divine doesn't care about the names we put onto it, or how we reach it, or where we do that---it just cares that we connect and act like we are a part of it. And that is the most beautiful part of it all.

Something has been in the back of my head for a while now. I read an article about a famous tattoo artist (I think her name is Kit) who has a tattoo of a heart in her right palm---to remind her to do all things with great love. This is something that resonates deep in my being. I am considering a similar tattoo on my right wrist, with two intentions----to do all things with great love, and to remind me that "there is no greater magic in all the world". I hadn't considered another tattoo, but this one seems to be insisting---and I think it's the Divine telling me that I'm not finished, that I need the connection and I need to spread it around, any way I can.

There is also something I forgot to share with you this week---so much to do, so little time! The church that I formerly served had a whole series on prayer, and I took away something that I think everyone could use, no matter their religious persuasion. It's called a "breath prayer"---it's mean to be prayed in one inhalation and exhalation. We breathe in the Divine, and breathe out our intention or wish. My favorite so far---"Source of all love" (on the inhalation), "share your love through me." (on the exhalation) It's amazing how cfentering, calming, and focusing this practice can be. We all need to pray more---even if we call it something else. :)
