How about just two?

Rabbit: tender, shy, conflict-avoidant, slow to connect, quick to slip away when feeling threatened or sad, hates to hurt others, quick to offer comfort. Sometimes shaky. Also adaptable and flexible, but must be treated gently. No thick skin. Will not linger for dysfunction.

Phoenix: No power in the 'verse can stop her. She is bigger than me, the me who lives entirely in this body. She is connected to the entire Universe, and can summon anything and anyone who has what she wants/needs. She is a Magician. She is also highly ethical, and seeks always to fill her needs in ways that preserve her integrity and the well-being of others. This usually steers her towards outcomes that are even better than she initially imagined.

Phoenix lives alongside Rabbit, and takes good care of Rabbit (this is good, because this means that I can, and do, rescue myself when necessary).

I was about to say that Phoenix is where the power comes from, but that's not true. The power comes from both of them, together.

We need a word for whatever the opposite of "power animal" is. "Anti-totem" doesn't really work for me, because "totem" isn't really accurately applied to the animal spirit of an individual.

"Disempower animal," perhaps.

Anyhow, whatever that term should be, I know what mine is: Ostrich. :-/

And, from my perspective, makes no sense. I know, I put my head in the sand all the time. Long time member of the ostrich club and I never see you at the meetings! Seriously, though, I always saw you as more of an owl. Like Owl, in Whinnie the Pooh. (I'm Piglet, by the way...)
