I believe this is just part of the getting wiser process. Some parts aren't much fun, and I will be glad to get to the bits that are more about delight and connection and less about seeing through illusions.
But it is what it is. Change is the rule, not the exception. Getting insight is better than staying stuck and blind. Couple weeks of sad is a reasonable trade-off for making choices that lead to happiness later.

Just remember that while no one can walk your path for you, there's an awful lot of us who are journeying in the same direction, and are more than glad to walk next to you for a while.
