Really happy stuff
Jan. 30th, 2005 11:52 amYou will never believe the coolness that is my roommate, Shannon.
I think I've mentioned that I've been doing the feng shui thing all over the house, and also lots of exercise.
In a stroke of utter genius, Shannon combined the two last night, enabling us to watch TV simultaneously while one of us is on the recumbent bike or the WaterRower and the other is on the elliptical trainer---*without moving the heavy equipment*!
She figured out that if we put one of the large mirrors against the Roman chair, the image of the TV would be reflected in it, and the person on the elliptacla trainer---which faces away from the TV---could enjoy a program, a video or a DVD while working out for the long haul.
Sweet!
Oh, I love it. Right now, life is pretty good. I'm hanging out on the futon watching "Windtalker" with the giant purple velvet pillow and the soft purple chenille blankie. Oh, life is sweet, sweet.
And you know what? If I take the blankie and drape it around my waist and tie the ends up around the back of my neck, it becomes a perfectly sized, loosely draped, soft and warm chenille dress that leaves my arms free to cook, work biceps and trices, or just feel happy and warm.
