Date: 2011-12-07 08:41 pm (UTC)Having started my own consulting business, I am extremely glad that I did not do it early in my career. Now I have accumulated resources to fall back on when business sucks. Also, since I intend to fully retire in the foreseeable future, long-term is not part of the business plan.
