Dusty's here Sunday: Need a Yule cut or color?

This Sunday, Dusty the Hair Fairy is showing up at my place to do hair cuts and color. I met Dusty at the Dirt Road when I noticed a tremendously cute pixie-ish woman with glorious Isis wings tattooed across her upper chest. The wings were bridged by a pair of long, slim scissors. "Now what could that mean?" I wondered.

This tattoo is a symbol of Dusty's work in the world: she coaxes inner beauty into the physical through the medium of haircuts, makeovers and color.

Dusty is coming to my place this Sunday and will be here all day, working her magic. She is careful to price her work very reasonably (dry cut $35; shampoo and blowout $45; no extra charge for long hair). If you want to check out photos of her work, she's "The Hair Fairy" on Facebook. Take a look.

Does she ever come to Minneapolis? It's time for me to start working on that Power Haircut. But, I really have no idea what that means. And, I'm not quite sure about going into a random hair salon and asking for advice.
