Rabbit

The talk was great. I'll write about it tomorrow. But tonight I was at a funeral directors' Christmas party, and there was a magician entertainer. The magician was very strange, but he had a white rabbit and a white dove.

After the show I went up to talk to him and said, "Your show was really nice. Do you think I could see your rabbit?"

He blinked at me in surprise, laughed, and pulled his rabbit out from behind the back wall of his set. He kept laughing the whole time, so I asked him if everything was OK.

"Sure," he said, "But I kill myself to put on a great magic show and all you want to do is see my rabbit?"

"It was a nice show," I answered, but he was right. I really just wanted to pet the rabbit.

It was soft and sweet, very beautiful and gentle. I petted it for a long time. I've never been close to a magician's rabbit before.

I have a friend who does a show with rats (Cirque du Sewer, the finest in rat-based entertainment). She occasionally complains, "Four years in theater school, two more years in other performance training at different schools, I can make puppets and slackrope-walk and juggle and make costumes and play the guitar. And all anyone wants to see is the rats."

That is exactly where the fool gets the knowledge from, in my head anyway, when i read tarot, i always see the fool as having the ability to gingerly,robustly and with complete openess push the arms forward and grab at the "heart" of anything. Sometimes it not an ability its a complusion that has benefits. I love your manner and when I dont try so hard I find myself felling the same.

dubiartos is owned by a tiny black rabbit named Boudiccea, yup the Celtic Warrior Queen. When you come visit, you can play with her for lotsa hours. (And you should friend him. He's family!)

oh magicians bunnies are the SHIT! i once got to be a (lesbian)magician's assiatnt and i got to hold the flaming pot of Bunny! truly a highlight of my life, that i hadn't thought of in years, so thank you for reminding me!
