Thank you, everyone, for all your vegetable advice and suggestions. I have added them to the slow cooker with a chicken, potatoes, onions and carrots and will plan to dice the remaining two into a chicken soup.

I hear you're looking for a CSA closer to home. That's a good idea! Then you can pick it up yourself and have some chance of knowing what you have. :-)
