I don't understand why "The Kids in the Hall" are funny. Michael keeps showing me clips. I just don't understand. What was this about?

Okay, that is probably only funny because I was in hs when that was new and we used to do it to our teachers from the back of the classroom. There was not much else about TKitH that I got, really.

It's possible it's not funny 20 years later. Like Python, much of it was lame in the first place.

But when Louise has brain weasels and can't sleep, I can ask, "Did you have the pear dream again?" And we both giggle.

I did not like TKIH the first couple of times I saw it. I found that when I watched it from the beginning of the first season through its entire run, I fell in love with the show. Is every bit funny? No. Are there episodes that aren't funny at all? Yes! It grows on you. I do find there is no middle ground on this one, people love them or hate them.

To me, it's much like Python: a lot of it is meh, some of it is truly embarrassing, and some of it is absolute GENIUS; some of it becomes funnier over time, some is hilarious right away.

I love raw broccoli; T hates it. My sister can wear beige and look good; it makes me look freshly exhumed. I find some of TKITH sketches hilarious; you don't.
