I believe that most of time, diversity is inherently good. So I'm pleased to notice that my circle of friends is shifting to become more diverse. A few years ago, almost all of my friends/buddies were female, and I had very few close male friends. Over the past couple of years, that's changed. I've now got a good group of buddies---folks like Dave and O---and I think that's a healthy development. It will probably help me think about the world in a way that's more fair and less biased, and give me a more realistic view of my environment.

I think I'm becoming more whole.

Wholeness is such a good thing to which to have contributed.

Three cheers for wholeness... and I agree about diversity, and have had much the same experience. There were my rabid twenties when I just about *refused* to have anything to do men, romantically or friend-wise. Now... many more male friends than back then.

And I feel better for it.
