What I hear, after reading your previous blog posts, is that you had an issue, you found a way to resolve it, and that your fears were not realized.
Hmm.
There's some blog writer out there who keeps quoting some nice phrases from Pema Chodron. I seem to recall quotes about dealing with fear, and how those fears might be an illusion. When I think of that writer's name, I'll send it to you.
In the meantime, I'm glad you found a path that leads to a destination that satisfies everyone involved.
AAAAAAAH! Hurting people's feelings and social awkwardness are my kryptonite. I hate screwing up in ways that hurt others. Don't much like looking dumb, either, but I'm used to that (eye roll). These things are some of my big triggers, and I tend to get wacky around them.
But, usually, I drag myself to reality with the help of my peeps and my role model Pema.
BUT...I get some great stories out of this stuff. And it is good for general amusement, say, about a year and a half later, when I no longer get triggered by whatever happened.

And yes, it's great to have friends!

Also laughter.
Yeah, this stuff really gets to me.
But I will calm down shortly.
