You need to be calm and solidly rooted and open when dealing with people who are anxious, scared, ill, feeling blue, angry... it makes sense that cultivating healing in yourself communicates itself to others, who then trust you more and feel more respected by you.

And you need the same qualities when dealing with emergencies in your own life.

It's nice to be reminded that the quest for integrity isn't just about being self-absorbed, but is in part about making yourself someone who transforms the experiences of others for good.
