Two minutes to post

I made it to my last hostel and slipped into an all-female 6-woman dorm, ensuite. Beautiful. It's raining, so I'll take the tram to the Melbourne aquarium and maybe explore Chinatown later.

Walking back, I noticed an African drumming shop Michael and my drummer friends would love. The website was on the sign: africandrumming.com.au. It's right across from the hostel.

There's a two-month fringe/art festival going on here, and I bought a ticket for tonight and tomorrow night. I'll be exploring the Cumbia Cosmonauts tonight and the Cairo Orchestra tomorrow. And yes, I brought a little black dress for just such occasions.

My mom had shoulder replacement surgery Monday and is recovering here, so I've been away from LJ for several days. Imagine my delight to sign in to catch-up and be treated to post after post of your adventures down under! Thank you for allowing me to see it through your eyes! It's been an absolute delight! The downside is, now that I'm all caught up I have to wait impatiently for your posts as they come.
