I was pressed for time when I posted my initial back-pat, so here's a more comprehensive response:

Wow. For as long as we've known one another, you've been making every effort to reach this point in your life. The niche that you've been researching is so incredibly important. In identifying and studying both the nature of HIV and its impact upon women in our culture, you've braided two vital streams together into a cohesive whole that I have no doubt will become required reading for others in the field. I believe that you've not only made an accomplishment for yourself, but a necessary and valuable contribution to the field.

So you gonna publish a book now or what?

I am so very proud, happy, and jealous for you. You so rock! Congratulations again.

Got your message at home, thanks for the joyous call - I was hooting and hollaring when I heard it - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so happy to see you complete this task, it has been a monkey on your back for soooo many years. Now it is time to take a break and relax - so, when are you coming up to visit????????
