Nope. I don't have a general opinion about whether it's good, bad, or emotionally healthy/dangerous to do so. For me, it feels like a waste of time. What's been created and done is past, and what matters is what I did or didn't learn from the experience.

Every moment I spend monitoring is a moment I don't get to spend enjoying my life and those I love NOW, and I hate to waste immediate opportunities for delight.

I have to admit I like having my ex-husband on my Facebook friends list though. He is a really nice guy and it has been pleasant to have a way to continue some sort of relationship even such a casual one. It feels like he is still a part of my life in a way, which is good.

all in all, i agree. though it's a little weird when Facebook suggests i friend my ex-boyfriend because our profiles indicate we're both current or former Drexel students...

"no longer friendly" may be the understatement of the century. it was an ugly and poorly-timed end. but, per your original entry, i acquired a metric ton of lessons about Poor Choices That Should Not Be Repeated from the experience. at least i'm learning, yeah?
