Good: Got to help with an elevation, got to see friends I love and spend time with them

Challenging: A gentleman backed into Michael's car in a parking lot.

GREAT: No one was hurt.

Challenging: Car has moved on to a better world.

Good: Have emergency fund sufficient to replace the car with cash. Have logged enough research hours to know what we are looking for, in general.

Challenging: Emergency fund will soon move on to a better world.

Good: Looks like we have generated a creative, mutually-agreed upon strategy for selling our share of the house to our neighbors. We may be moving mid-summer.

Unknown: Will the banks OK the plan?

Do you want a used car? My father in law works at an auto auction. He might be able to get one of the dealers to pick up s car for you at a good price. He has done this for family members. I don't know if he would be willing to do it for one of my friends but I can ask him.

Did the gentleman not have any insurance? Or are you going to replenish your emergency fund with the insurance check? You guys need more auto-ninjas! LOL!

P.S. - I'm wondering if there's any material I should be reading to prep? I'm feeling kinda blind about the whole thing and would like to be prepared . . .
