Because I want EVERYONE in my community---everyone in MY TRIBE---to be powerful, self-determining, fiscally wise and financially secure. I want EVERYONE I know and love---especially my Blue Star, Asatru and Craft friends---to have an overflowing emergency fund, an IRA in their own name, a portfolio to sustain them in retirement and the inner peace and confidence that comes from all of this.

My people should be safe and self-determining. All of them.

And I hope you keep it up. We need more of our people to be secure in old age.

I am a part owner of a firm that administers all types of retirement plans, especially 401(k) Plans. Please let me know if you have any questions about providing for adequate retirement income. Goal setting is VERY important. Did I say VERY IMPORTANT?

You really should send your post to me directly rather than load up S's LJ.

And we appreciate it, even if we're not in a position to use any of it right this instant. Keep it up!

I am hopeful that you will be in a position to use some of it soon. :)

I am working on conveying this information to my non B* and non-LJ using spouse. Interestingly, explaining it helps me understand it better. We both have some ways to go. :)

But, thank you!

This makes sense to me---to explain something, you have to start integrating it into your own worldview, making it your own. I am so glad that this is useful for you!

I appreciate your work. I've been working on a money workshop for pagans (it'll be several hours long), and your material is helping.

Keep it up--you're helping people!

This is GREAT! I'm excited that you are doing this work, and that I can contribute in some way.

If it's possible, I'd love to come to a workshop presentation and learn a little from you, too: things you've discovered, what people seem to need to know the most and what it's like to run a workshop for Pagans on such a non-traditional topic.

Wooo-hooo!

Late afternoon/early evening is usually pretty good. I often find that talking to folks on my drive home (around 5:00) works well for me.

I'd love to hear your proposal. :)

Thank you for doing this! I read them, then "add to memories" so I can get back to them easily.

A couple years ago, to be more "present" with money, I had started checking accounts regularly and watching closely what happened with money in my world. Micro payments became logical. Saving is instinctual. Although, so is spending. lol (I tend to set money aside, then use it up for car repairs or holiday gifts.) This has been in tandem with a new relationship with "things." Thanks to these wonderful posts, I'm considering investment possibilities.

Between your posts, seedmoon's, and some conversations at FSG, I'm opening to options for myself despite my limited resources. I'm thinking that living below the poverty level and investment don't have to be mutually exclusive. It's happening!

Yay! This is very exciting. I will keep you in mind when I am researching financial options for these posts.
