I hope I can finish it today!

Still on track with weight training and cardio.

Talked to jasminewind about the Calendar project. She's willing to help project manage, so once the book is done I can turn my attention to getting that rolling with her and wild_place_king.

Go me, go, go, go! Get it done today! {Motivational push...}

I have some ideas for how to keep it looking professional and consistent in spite of the fact that people will be sending photos done with different backgrounds on different cameras at different quality levels. (We are going to have to have SOME minimum quality standards if we want it not to look like crap, but there are some equalizing things that can be done. I'm thinking about a sepiatone sort of look, to help them all seem more consistent. And people look better in b/w anyway, generally, and we don't have to worry about color imbalances and people don't have to freak out about their skin tone and flaws like hotspots are easier to correct. It worked for the Calendar Girls, after all -- it can work for us. :-)

Did y'all already have a plan for how/where you want to get these printed, or should I be researching that, too? Kinko's is NOT your best option, nor your cheapest. (And do we have even a rough guess about how many of these we might want printed?)

For example, lulu.com is a good option. An 8.5x11 calendar would be about $12, or a larger nicer one would be about $20. (With discounts if we go over 25 units in one go.) The advantage to Lulu is, we could just let people order their own, and it wouldn't matter how many we made, they print on demand so there's no extras to pay for and nobody gets screwed. (And no one has to keep the damned things laying around. Need another one? Order it!)
