Milestones Looming

My book: I'm on the last few pages of Chapter 7; I will wrap up the Conclusion over the weekend.

Michael's divorce: He filed step 1 today. He will go back Monday to file steps 2 and 3 at the same time, and should be issued a court date for mid-to-late Feb. He and his ex have a signed and notarized property settlement agreement, and are collaborating in order to streamline the whole process. Plus, Union County is amazingly civilized regarding divorce: collaborating spouses can move through a vastly accelerated procedure.

My fellowship: The papers were signed yesterday and I'm officially on the team for another year. No pay cut; instead, a small raise.

My life is about to change in several important ways---good ways!

I won't be available for much in the way of chatting and correspondence for a few more days while finalizing these projects.

The healing weekend is next Saturday, but the week after is clear! The 21st to the 24th are clear (my wisdom teeth get yanked the 25th, so I'll be recovering that Fri and Sat). Any of these days work for you?

The Saturday would be fab! I can't commit to any of the weekdays, just because I may be covering for other volunteers, so I'm not sure what my schedule is, but I will definitely be home on Saturday :D

Hmmm, my teeth will have been yanked the previous day 9the 25th). On Saturday (the 26th). I will try for that morning. I may be at a nadir of my charm, however. :)

Good question, my dear. I'm not sure what Michael will want to do. I plan to be with him at court, and we will probably do something afterwards to unwind and commemorate the event.

Any chance we will see you this weekend for Ariana and Marsha's visit? It will be at Eileen's place, closer to Pennsylvania.
