A wonderful holiday to everyone!

I celebrate the Solstice as a religious holiday and Christmas as a secular family one, and I know many of you do too. So happy Christmas, everyone! And to my Christian friends especially, may this be a beautiful day for you and your family.

We're off to Atlantic City for the week to stay with Jen, Zach and Michael's family (a wonderful treat: they are funny, wise and a pleasure to be around) and I may be hard to reach while I am gone. I'll post and check email when I can find internet access. See you later this week!

Merry Christmas to you! Now that you put it that way, Christmas is a "secular family" holiday for us too. We know too much about the origins of the holiday to have any delusions that it's really Christian.

We're wondering if you and the family could get away for a visit the first weekend in January? We'd love to see you!
