George Marvil passed into the next world about 6 minutes ago. He was not alone. Cat, Liam, Matty, Pandora, Renee and I were with him. It was peaceful. It was a good death.

Sad news but still good to hear that his passing was peaceful.

Thank you so much for all you have done and all you continue to do, not only for those there that need you but also for those of us who can't be there and have been waiting for news on George.

Please express my deepest sympathies to Cat and the others.

About that time, I was in conversation with my Patron, who assurred me that He would see to it that George's journey to what lies next would be a gentle & peaceful one.

I was trying to type that then, but now I understand why the words wouldn't come to me.

Blessings and condolences to all who were touched by George, however small the touch.

Thank you for being there. May the Ancestors welcome their new companion. May my own death also occur with dancing auroras all over the skies. Clearly the Sky people were excited tonight.

Thank you for staying with him and giving us the inside view. I for one found it most helpful. He will be missed by so many for so long. My own life has been significantly altered by his existence and I owe him so much.

Blessings on Cat, Liam, and Rowan in their healing time.

He was blessed to have his family surrounding him to wish him a safe passage.

May all of you find peace and healing in the days to come and all meet again when the time is right.

At least we know now there will be one hell of a festival going on when we come to the Summerland.

I'm glad he was surrounded by love.

That thought just made me inordinately happy. :-)

(He'll probably get Picasso or someone to do the t-shirts. ;-)

Very sorry to hear of your loss; I came here through a friend-of-a-friend, and wanted to mention that it is possible designate deceased users as "memorial accounts" so that they are marked/protected in certain ways (no nudge, for example). More details can be seen here (http://community.livejournal.com/suggestions/531891.html), but I believe all you would need to do is contact someone in charge at LiveJournal.

I just got back from attending Nat's mother's funeral over in South Africa and just saw the news.

I'm sorry for all who have lost Geo from their life - but what better passing could he ask for? Surrounded by those who love him, in all their clerical glory.

I'm sure the first thing he'd do as he slipped from his mortal shell would be to look around the room at all the people lovingly attending to him and smile glowingly.

That is the image to hold on to.

Peace,

- Brian
