The waiting room is full now. Cat is in the back, hopefully talking with Dr. H and whatever part of the team has been doing rounds. I am eager to here what they have to say and dreading it, too. Not really because of bad prognoses---i'm not scared of that anymore.

I've been writing Yule cards and pacing alot.

Sarah just walked in---I'm getting off to talk with her. She Says,"Hey everybody. Hello internet".

Anything else, Ms. Avery?

(Laughter) No.

OK, back later with more news from the ICU.

Between Dr. Avery and Dr. Chase, Geo has more docs in the waiting room than are talking with Cat right now!

I'm imagining the prescriptions that would come from our treatment team.

Dr. Chase:
I think the patient's methodology is too reliant on the participant-observer role, and that he's become too close to his field population. He really needs to put some sociological data in his introduction, to get his field observations into some kind of perspective.

Dr. Avery:
Nonsense! The problem is that he's using gerunds where he needs to be using infinitives. If we put him on an infinitive drip and give him a participle button so he can dose himself as needed, he should perk rigth up.
