I'm back home from "Mythical Journeys" in Maryland and the work-related conference in Tucson that followed it.

Whew! I was out of internet contact from Thursday through Sunday. That's a long time in my world. It will take me a while to catch up.

Mythical Journeys was simply incredible. There is no other word for it. Cat and Eve were incredible teachers, and I loved working with them. Our people in the Innanna track were courageous, flexible, and funny---willing to confront themselves in excruciating ways without sacrificing their sense of play and joy. I am so glad that Cat gave us all the opportunity to go there.

The work conference was good as well, once I made the switch in mindsets.

I am glad to be home, even though I am moving my home for the next 2 weeks.

I feel the same way---I am so glad that we discovered each other.

Tucson was beautiful, but I did not get to see much of it because of the conference. Maybe later in life...

Glad everyone seems to have really liked it, judging from all the LJ comments...I vaguely considered trying to go, but I just couldn't afford it, and I don't think I'm really ready for something like that yet anyway. A funny thing though...one of the LARPs I play on occasion is also called "Mythical Journeys". Go figure. :)

Yay! You're back! I heard about the Inanna track from several people who participated in it -- wish I could have been there.

I wish you a low-stress move. I think in retrospect that's what Mars transiting your 4th House means: lots of activity and energy centered around your home, and making your new residence into your home.

You are right, darlin'. This is Mars energy all the way, down to the aggressive way it is asking me to shift, change and transform my life. Lots of scary requirements to end the old and start fresh, and of course, I am resisting. it's so hard not to resist!

Thank you for this interpretation and reminder of the role of Mars in all of this.

Sharon, I am sorry that I will miss you at Samhain---I will be moving large pieces of exercise equipment and many boxes well into the evening of the 28th. I send you an LJ hug and hope that your Samhain is exactly whatever it needs to be to further your growth and transformation in the best possible way...and hope to see you at the next big sabbat celebration.
