In the late fall, I will be moving to a new household with my lovelies, Michael and Trent.

The new household is beautiful, even in its renovation stages, but it is very small and lacks almost any storage space. Over the next 5 months, I will be gradually culling:

Magical supplies
Books
Clothing
No-longer needed items

I would like to distribute those things that people might be able to use in this process. Particularly, I feel wierd about culling my magical supplies unless I know that they will be going to good homes where they will be used. Magical supplies include herbs, tools that I have doubles of etc.

As those of my friends and circle-mates come to visit me over the next 5 months, please think about reviewing my supplies with me, in case I have something that i can't take with me that you might want.

I'm also looking for a new home for my cats, Luna and Bast. I'm open to negotiating about their upkeep expenses, etc. and although it would be lovely if they could be together, I know this may not be possible. Bast is gentle, loving and very snuggly. She is affectionate in the extreme. Her 2 big drawbacks are these: she is a Siamese, and meows alot. She also tends to poop outside the litter box on accasion, although she never pees outside of it.

Luna has mellowed with age and loves to climb into visitor's laps and crawl into their shoes. She will also follow you around the house, and wait for you to come home, welcoming you when you arrive. She used to be grumpy, but now she's just lonely and wants to be loved. She like to sit on you and have her head lightly petted for awhile. Her biggest drawbacks are that she will sometimes pee outside the litterbox when she gets mad at you and she will growl if you pet her too much.

Dear one, how sad that they cannot come too. I know how dear they are for you. I hope that someone will step forward to love them both the way you do.

Hugs!

Me too. I really hope so. I am willing to fund their care for aomeone who can love them and transport them to their new homes, wherever they are. Thank you for offering me comfort---this is sole hardest thing about the transition I am about to make, even harder than worrying about how to integrate into a new family and learn to be a good stepmom, essentially.

I want my kitties to be happy, and be loved.

If I could, I would. I have fond memories of snuggling with Bast, and am glad to hear Luna has mellowed.

Why don't you take them? You just lost a cat, didn't you?

I don't suppose you're giving away any gym equipment?

...or scavenge, for that matter, as I'm sure you have many goodies I'd lust over.

I remember both your cats fondly, having visited them many a time. It's sad that you won't be able to bring them. Does someone have an allergy?

Good luck with the move, the household integration, stepmomming (the witch-stepmother is so iconic, but if anyone can break the stereotype, it's you!), and the other challenges that life is throwing your way.

Missing you...

I'm always willing to take books no one wants anymore. I've gotten very good over the years at finding homes for them. :-)

As for supplies, if there is anything you can't find a home for talk to Sheeve. She had a "misc tools" box that she used to bring to Balefire where any newbie could go through what was there and get things they might need and not have yet for themselves. It's always seemed like a good idea to me, so if anything is left after you've shared with loved ones, think about calling her.

If I thought for one second my cats would tollerate Luna, I'd take her in a second. Unfortunately, they're barely tollerating each other these days. I'm not sure I could deal with any more hissing right now.
