For those who may not find happiness to exercise religious faith, it's okay to remain a radical atheist, it's absolutely an individual right, but the important thing is with a compassionate heart -- then no problem.

I don't care what religion someone is as long as they're compassionate and decent. I also don't care if I'm deluding myself about my religious beliefs, as long as I can try and be as compassionate and decent as I can overall (towards myself as well as others, especially when I fall down).

I'[m just more convinced that we are here to love and care for each other. No "religion" has a corner on the compassion, love, caring, supporting market. If we are all acting from the heart of compassion, how can we help but do wonderful things? It's when love and compassion are blocked that we run into trouble.

I notice a series of Dalai Lama quotes. Have you read "The Jew in the Lotus" by Roger Kamenetz? It's the story of the encounter between a group of Rabbis and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It's an inspiring book that shows how there are a variety of true paths that all lead to the same place. Highly recommended!
