Back on LJ after a week of extreme busyness

I've been off LJ for a week, scrambling to put in materials for a post-doc application, working, attending to other duties and preparing for the snowstorm. I'll start reading through the missed posts today.

Linda Julien and I are snowed in here in my apartment in New Jersey, and I'm praying that the University is closed. More later, I hope.

OK, time to have some fun!

I do have to do some real work today. But I look forward to exercising at leisure, eating last night's indian food, setting up my printer and doing a reading for Linda. It will be a good day, I hope.

Took a sick day this AM. Things may be under control now. I might go in later.

Lots of snow here. Bright. Beautiful. White. My little car could barely make it up the hill on the way home from work last night, but the roads look OK now. In fact, everything is starting to look OK now.

I think I might be unemployed very soon, but I'm OK with it. I think it's just a manifestation of the old cosmic two by four.
