Feb. 21st, 2005 12:48 pmI followed Bill's link (below) and did the Zener card trial, fully expecting, as I began, to prove conclusively that they ain't no psychic stuff happening up here today.

However, as I started to click my way through, I felt my crown chakra area start to tingle---to wake up and tingle. Not because I was making any effort. It just did. So I moved through the trial, in a pretty rushed kind of way, because I was trying not feel performance anxiety (impossible, I think, no matter how fast you go).
So this was my result today:
"Well, Sabri, you got 10 / 25 correct (40%)
By chance we would expect 5 / 25 correct guesses (20%)
For 25 trials, a score of 9 or above would be statistically significant"
I'm surprised.

Date: 2005-02-21 06:09 pm (UTC)Each time I took the "test" the results were statistically significant. However, in every case it said that I am not psychic, rather psycho.
Oh well!

Date: 2005-02-21 06:34 pm (UTC)I scored 2/25. I think that is statistically insignificant. Or perhaps it is so bad that it is significant. ;)

3. Quick zip through, no thinking: 28%
Apparently, thinking about it makes me psychically denser.

Date: 2005-02-23 07:08 pm (UTC)I'm not sure how much it would work for me coming from the computer, I think that my skills are rooted in empathy, but I'm going to check out that link!
