omg this is so true. last night, aaron was in bed, in a lot of pain AND unable to eat. I was tired and still had a list of shit to do.

A: What's all the giggling down there?
Me: Cherise has to do a project on an African animal and she has chosen...a tiger.
A; (giggling) Yeah, that'll work.
Me: SO I suggested she find an animal in her african animal book. And she said Well...let me go talk to msyelf about this. And took the book and her pencil into the other room to consult with herself.
A: Awesome.
Me: And you know how business-like she tries to act. I swear, she looked like she was about to say, Let me run this offer past my clients, see what they say.

and we laughed. and a moment that felt kinda shrunk and tight and injured, suddenl felt expansive and sweet.
