Keith, where'd you get the pomegranate molasses? I need some. Also baharat spice mix. Can you hook me up?

eLiz found it for me, down by her. I can't seem to find it around New Hope. I'm not sure where she bought it, I just had her pick me up several bottles.

This is my current brand (I think), but there are many brands of it; I've used at least two others before, and loved them all, though I'd love to do a taste test someday.

You ought to find it in any Middle Eastern grocery store, if there are any of those near you. Or you can order it online from any number of places.

I get it from The Oasis restaurant in Lansdale, which also has a small grocery. It looks like the Wegman's grocery chain also carries some.

I highly recommend blending spice blends from fresh/quality ones. I find that pre-blended mixes, unless sold by a restaurant or blended in-house, tend to be somewhat stale by their sale date. I live in a definitely non-urban area, but I must say that the co-op spices I get are a great deal better than prepackaged, and cheaper. Most of my personal blending is of Indian style spice mixes. I do love, and miss, Wegman's - my first apprenticeship involved an unbelievably high amount of shopping there (Geneva, NY). Just food for thought, so to speak.
