Jan. 8th, 2012 09:55 amDamn. I am surrounded by many useful sources of wisdom. They don't help me avoid pain, uncertainty and loss, but they *really* help me navigate these waters productively.
I guess they help me find my equilibrium in the world as it is. Hmmmmmm, is that being a grown-up? I think it is. I hope I never stop growing up---because the world is never gonna start remaking itself according to my preferences.

Date: 2012-01-08 04:24 pm (UTC)Equilibrium is interesting. In placid waters, you're just drifting. I think your life is such that if you get too placid, something pushes a wave over you, and when things get turbulent, you have support buoying you, keeping you afloat.

And I just saw your plan for the new Temple. Wow. Just...wow. It blew me away. Cat was right to suggest that you and Tiff bring in new ideas. I can't believe we never thought about this before...
