This morning, walking fast on a treadmill, I opened up the chakra on the top of my head. I let the energy flow all the way down my body, awakening each energy center as it ran. And when the connection was made, I felt a pair of giant, energetic wings sweep out from either side of my spine and spread wide and true out from the core of my back.

Wow.

You just never know what's going to unfold.

Hot damn! Congrats. :) I imagine mine are still around here someplace. Probably burnt them off in 2010. Lol.

You're so silly, hypanebliss.

Who knows what this means, but it's cool to experience.

I am just sticking to chanting for now.

laughing!!!!

I know, it sounds so ridiculous. I'm still grinning about it.

It was probably some kind of embodied metaphor about feeling able to soar again, after a period of challenge. Something about renewed faith in my ability to guide my life, maybe?

Whatever. It felt great.

Or a unitary neurological state brought on my by rhythmic behavior and meditation. This would sound like an active versus a passive one. I will finish the book and let you know. ;-)

Of course. Grinning...

Let me know what the book says. Movement and opening up to what's out there lead to unusual states of consciousness a lot, in my experience.

Sometimes I feel like I have wings in the energetic way, too...

I'm glad to hear it. It sounds like such a dorky thing when I write it down. It's nice to know that other people experience it, too.

It's not always a comfortable sensation, but it is interesting and mysterious.

I've felt that strongly only once, but reading your post helped me access that memory and that feeling. Yay for wings!

Why dorky? We are all things, and all things are us. We have all sorts of funky appendages and shapes and abilities.

I think it sounds bloody marvellous.

Sweet. I have to admit that I don't really look forward to my treadmill mornings. But, I too use them as an opportunity to do walking meditation and to open up to the father sky/mother earth/source. I miss that time on the days when I don't work out.

When I work out---especially when I combine cardio and weights---it changes everything. EVERYTHING.

It's like living in a different body.

Hey ingrid, I've had some really intense energy body experiences over the last few weeks. Next time we talk, ask me. I know you'll understand.
