sabrinamariI'm back from a long visit to several groups of friends in Baltimore.
It was good, and involved lots of driving back and forth between various Blue Star and FoV households. I think I finally know my way through the center of town and back and forth to the city from Frederick, Ellicott City and Towson.
It is good.
There is much to reflect upon. I have an itchy, restless sensation in my mind, as though there is almost too much to ponder. I desperately need quiet thinking/writing time. But tonight there won't be much of that, at least not till later. Trent has a Christmas concert and dinner still requires washing up. Thank goodness Michael and I were able to talk and reconnect a bit this afternoon during my drive home.
I'd love more quiet, calm, relaxing time during the coming year. How can I start creating that? How can I build a life that recharges me instead of draining me?
Maybe I should just give up focusing for tonight and put in "Pitch Black" after we get back from the concert.
That way, my subconscious can take a crack at things while I lose myself in good science fiction.
There's so much good and potent stuff here...I just need to sift through it all.
