Teaching notes
Dec. 5th, 2011 01:17 pmI'll start Trent on 3-card readings soon, and ask him to observe several as well.
We can begin with observation and treat cards he doesn't yet know as an opportunity for discussion.
I can probably get Michael to oblige and allow himself to be observed during a reading.
This way, Trent can also watch the process of reading, which is really a form of lay counseling.

The underlying lesson is creating a space in which love and trust is the norm.
All of this is difficult for kids to get, of course, but they eventually will.
