Telling me the story of his first encounter with a boomerang in Australia, my dad explained how he was the only one in his group to even get close to the target. After years of working with rifles, he knew how to adjust his aim. "I was the only one that got close. The rest of them couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a banjo".
