We'll be so close, and yet so far. We'll be about an hour north of Dallas - which is close if we want to visit for a weekend, but not when we're visiting Dallas for the weekend. *sigh* We lend support from that somewhat closer distance, though. You can do this.

My mother grew up in an immigrant town in Missouri, so that may explain a lot of her behavior, except that she ran away from it at 19. But it still informed so much of her ways of being. She keeps insisting that us sharing a household would be a good idea when I know that it wouldn't. Can we say "potential for elder abuse", and I'm not kidding. She angers me so because she doesn't respect boundaries.
