Laughed alot last night with Cat and Shannon as we deconstructed the erotic aspects of pro wrestling. Man, I have just been too serious and too work-oriented for the last few years of my life. I am starting to think about the many possibilities in front of me for happiness, and focus less on the unhappiness behind me. I hope this lower-anxiety state picks up steam and becomes full-fledged confidence and joy soon!

And most of those "flaws" are only perceived flaws. I see you in a very different way than you see yourself. Where you'd tell another person to kick back, accept themselves, and go slowly, you go into intensive immersive training and flog yourself. I'm glad you're breaking the habits you've been pushed into over the years of having to achieve to a ridiculous degree just to get the merest acknowledgment, from Ken, from certain people in old Blue Star, from your committee... You're free of them all now, and I am so looking forward to watching you ease up and relax and stop expecting yourself to constantly hit the high notes. I volunteer silly party games and general idiocy. We have Star Trek Uno...

I welcome you with open arms and a big smile! I would like a great deal more silliness and amusement in my life. Left to my own devices, I tend to brood too much, focus on problems with single-minded intent, and forget about relaxing, feeling happy, and being grateful for the many good things in my life.

I need to follow the examples of those around me who just let themselves feel joy sometimes.

So let the silliness/playfulness begin!
