sabrinamari"It's odd how, even though we learn something in one context, we can need to learn it again in a remarkably similar, but different, situation. After going for weeks without realizing that it's really the same old thing wrapped up in different paper.
The good news, it seems, is that having learned once, it's easier to do a bit of brain shifting to apply the old lesson to the new context than it was to learn that lesson in the first place. There are still questions, of course -- is this really the same thing? Does that apply here, or is this something different? But ... really, it's the same. Now that I've been able to recognize it, it's the same. Hopefully the brain shift will happen (and stick) quickly."
