The weather report is not a surprise, personally or at a macro level. Woke up tense, stressed and annoyed at the rate of constant change in my life. Do not feel friendly, calm or happy. Would love to be simply awful to everyone around me.

Will apply Buddhist tools and acknowledge that this is a juicy place to start; will meditate after a killer workout, pursue today's goals mindfully and refrain from picking pointless fights.

Probably should start by running fast and hard to use up some of the mean in me today.

**** Thank gods for exercise. Much better! Also, one minute of resting my head against my honey's belly is good for a 75% reduction in angst.

BTW,I am informed that meditating DURING a workout can do some things too. Granted, more fire than water/ice.

I use it frequently during cardio. Weights, though, require my complete attention.

Yeah, the berserks recommend it during cardio too. I am not that good but will work towards doing it in boxing.

I like your approach to coping with the cosmic weather. We can't always control what's happening, but we can usually control how we deal with it. I'm glad you chose to deal with it in a constructive way.

I am trying not to do too much interacting until I feel my normal calm. It would suck to dump this on kind, unsuspecting people.
