Gosh, how true is this? How many times have I put words to paper or computer screen and then just stared at them, wondering where to go from there..and then just jotting everything down that came to mind. Had to put it away, come back and then make sense of it. It was the same with practice time at the piano. Over and over and over again, the same notes that weren't quite right. Put it away, come back to it later with another perspective. It works! Looking at choral music as a director as opposed to a singer---another kind of perspective. It's wonder-full when life can be so complex and so beautiful all at once, and how wonder-full is the human mind that can process it all and take it down to the simplest fact that everything has beauty and life. I'm just having the best time of my life re-discovering life!
