Snow + shovels = superhero status

So, we got a foot and a half of snow where I live. This morning, Michael and I snuggled and then got up to dig ourselves out.

We dug out the Body Buggy and my minivan, and then Michael (re)dug the space next to mine while I helped a neighbor dig out her car. We also helped two sweet guys get their car unstuck and dug out an elderly lady pretty much against her will. 'Cause please, if there's an emergency, she will need her car, period. And by the time we were done, she was really happy.

It was fun, actually. Plus I love looking around our parking lot and seeing how good it looks---a couple of other folks did some digging too, and the cumulative effect is quite significant.

Feelin' highly effective and generally cheery.

i don't mind nearly as much as i used to. it's a great workout and in the early mroning, very ebautiful. also so appreiated by other when you do theri shoveling.
