I just got a wonderful text from my honey:

"I've completed the 2011 1st quarter budget. We should review it with each other naked tonight."

Shoo, this would give me an excited pleasure squee even *without* the naked part. I love personal finance geekery. With the addition of naked happy time, it's pure joy.

I loved your blog post about the January bump and creating a plan instead of making a resolution. Here, too, the situation is the same: the gym is packed to the gills and there's no parking in the mornings. I know, though, that by mid-February, it'll be back to its usual moderate level of use.

This year has been very strange for me: I lost weight during the holidays, even though I wasn't exercising much. I'm hoping to build on this and add some muscle while keeping the body fat low throughout the spring.

I already knew that all political debate should be held in the nude, based on a hot-tub debate I had at CraftWise in 1996. Now I've learned that all accounting should be done skyclad as well. Who knows what other intellectual endeavors are hindered by an excess of clothing?

Actually, this works on a bigger level: when I need to work with my honey on something big, it's really excellent to combine it with something we'll both enjoy. And it's win-win-win, which is what I want.
