THE Beltane Gathering Workshop Proposal

Here is the workshop I am proposing for THE Beltane gathering this year in addition to my Beltane Pre-Conference. It is a shortened, condensed piece of either a day-long or weekend-long Godhooks intensive. It's based on the strategies I used for moving from a place of grief/divorce/despair into a delightful relationship of joy and power that fit me perfectly.

If I did it, you can do it, too.

The challenge will be to cram as much of six to twelve hours into one as is useful!

Using the Time Between to Draw the Love You Want

The time 'between', when one relationship has died and another has yet to be born, can be a powerful time for creating lasting happiness. This workshop, taken from a longer weekend intensive, weaves together Eastern and Western spiritual traditions to help those living 'between' reshape the future of their sexual/romantic lives. We will use interactive exercises, reflection and even play to explore where we've been and clear a path towards where we want to go. You will be asked to partner with others for several exercises, so come willing to meet new people and work with them. Plan to leave with a new daily practice designed to strengthen your ability to find and accept love. Bring a notebook, a pen and the willingness to take a few risks!

Sabrina Mari is a teacher, writer, anthropologist and coach. She facilitates interactive workshops on Tarot, ritual, mindful intimacy, finance, fitness and aromatics. She is a member of Godhooks, a collective that works together to bring individuals and communities the opportunity, support and safe space in which to embrace transformative change. that sounds like a fantastic workshop. (i regret i won't be able to attend it.) there's a lot of focus spent on how to build and maintain strong relationships - which is a quite worthy subject - but i like the idea of also attending to the "between" times. it's a part of the cycles of life that gets a bit neglected, i think.

i'm fascinated by what you and the rest of Godhooks are cookin' up.

I wish I could come, but I have to choose between Beltane and FSG, because I have a visit to dsee my new grandchild scheduled for Labor Day, a trip to NYC with Dave in April, and too much other stuff in between. I hope that you'll be presenting something equally wonderful at FSG...

I am so glad that you're doing this class, because it's so important. I did similar work in the two years between my last awful relationship and meeting serbrew, and I wouldn't have been ready for S and our relationship if I hadn't done that work.
