I love her because she seems to understand the gravity, beauty and fragility of the human heart. She reminds me of Pema Chodron's teachings about connecting with shakiness and uncertainty rather than shutting down and retreating into solitude, blame or anger when we are afraid.
To me, she seems to understand the risks we take when we connect with others, and she holds the blossoming heart with a kind of tender wistfulness in recognition of them, just as you describe.
So lovely and complex...she seems to have compassion for us as we struggle to connect with one another in authentic ways. This is a recognition of love on all levels, not just the joyful or easy ones.
Yet the heart she holds blossoms with beauty: the risk is real, the results sometimes sad, but the payoff is profound.
