One and a half podcasts written. I *do* have something to say.

I really am going to get them up before this weekend.

I think it's because several of my friends inspired me at the same time, and also, I've been itching to talk about the relationship between one's ministry---the thing you were born to do---and one's relationship with Element Money.

That podcast unfolded as easily as a flower in the Spring.

Wow.

Hi. That's all. Just hi.

Oh, and how did the job thing work out?

Good! Really, really good. Did you know that I have a copy of your astrological chart? I found it yesterday in one of my files.

I will email you the transcripts later today. Feel free to use them in your class. They include a couple of short in-workshop writing assignments.

We were talking in class about the discomfort many therapists feel in a) turning down pleas for help outside office hours, and b) charging for services. It seems that those who enter counselling and psychotherapy as a profession tend to be people who under-value their skills as well as having considerable discomfort with the concept of capitalism in relation to helping those in distress. Most are leaving jobs they hate because of the lack of emotional connection and the sense that it is not meaningful or acceptable to compete for money. So it's fraught with pitfalls.

My hope is that I can offset this very strong distaste I feel for the constant labelling of goods and services with price tags by doing some therapy on a volunteer basis while using your podcasts as a way of coming into a healthier relationship with money.

This sounds like a great approach. I am going to do the same thing myself. I will always have free classes, podcasts and materials up on my website(s) and Blue Star material will always be free and available to Blue Star folks, but later on, I'll put up coaching, teaching and personal growth related material that's available for a small fee.

I will always have plenty of free teaching available to those who want it.
