Sabrina Chase will defend her dissertation, "Mujeres Ingeniosas [Resourceful Women]: HIV+ Puerto Rican Women and the Urban Health Care System" on Friday, October 29 at 10am in RAB 305. The dissertation defense is public and open to everyone who is interested in attending. A copy of her dissertation will be available for review in Penny’s office as of Friday, October 15.

We are timing an Oaktavia energy raising chant ritual to START on the 29th at 9:30am (I *know* you - that's when you'll be vibrating with jitters :wink:), and will keep it going till we get the call from Sarah. We are letting Tabitha stay home from school for it (she insisted she wants to be part of it).
Along with the pic of you, and the cap & tassel prop we're including (Yay A.C. Moore's!!) to symbolize you graduating with ease, we're also including my quill & inkpot (to symbolize a speedy signature!), and a piece of parchment with "Diploma" printed across it in 'certificate' font - with "Sabrina Chase, PhD" under it! ("Hey! visual aids... we *love* that!" so says the Pagan 'Chrissy' Lowell... LOL)
