I'm enjoying the fruits of my labors, and feeling good about the latter part of this week. The previous period was a little rough, so I'm especially able to appreciate the yummy goodness of the past few days.
* Loving the ease with which my book went to a kind and enthusiastic set of editors---and delighted to discover that Imbolc's charged tea light, blessed with publication in mind---was 'accidentally' lit a couple of weeks ago. Hmmmm.
*Solved a serious problem at work Weds and Thurs. I *think* this may have helped resolve some of the tense feelings I struggled with earlier in the week
* Wrote a 2000-word article yesterday...to my great surprise, it flowed out of my mind like a river of fragrant lavender oil, smooth and stimulating all at the same time. Sent it off perfectly on time to those who were waiting for it. Wednesday's practice vignette plopped in perfectly to wind up the article, just as if I had written it to specs. Happy sigh.
* Continuing to eat and spend mindfully. Good!
* Packing on the muscle, oh yes, and I love it. Discovered the Nathan Petrelli machine at
shaminin's gym last night, and spent four sets propelling myself towards the ceiling going, "Wheee! Wheee!" as folks around me looked on in surprise (it's a standing assisted pull-up machine, actually).
* Weight is stable at 142, lats are widening gracefully, biceps and triceps are starting to pop, legs feel like iron under the smooth layer of fat. I can see new muscle about every other week. Jeans that fit at the end of last summer fit loosely right now. I'm right on track.
Happy.
