Snuggled up with Nova on a comfy couch---today has been full of travel and low key relaxation. Tomorrow will probably be chillin and relaxing, too. No excitement till Saturday, but that's OK. Content.

I am curled up in a perfect place. The house where I'm staying has a picture window with a generous ledge, which has been framed by a beautiful fabric drape. There's a huge cat bed of incredible softness catching the sun as it streams through the window, and heat rises from the heater below.

I've been perched here for the last half hour, enjoying the sun and petting each of the cats. I can hear water recirculating gently from the cat bowl and the soft hum of the refrigerator.

One thing I like: I am starting to trust the people around me enough to ask questions: "what does this mean? Can you show me?". And mostly, they are answering me without making me feel stupid. It feels really good to stop worrying about how I come across.
