With the tribe

Busy weekend: the tribe has been mobilized for no less than four major concurrent projects. I didn't actually grasp the range of what was happening until late yesterday. Still, Blue Star trains you to step in when you are needed and contribute to multiple situations on demand, so I am on all four projects as of last night.

So far, it's been interesting and full of unexpected opportunities. Today's challenge includes figuring out how I can assist in the installation of laminate flooring. So far, I've coordinated the acquisition of food. I'm guessing I'll find something useful to do later, too.

You just never know which skills the tribe is going to need.

EDIT Actually, it's going really well. This morning I worked on emergency project 1, gave my vehicle to someone for planned project 2, went to another location for planned project 3 and will pick up my vehicle late this afternoon and head over to work with emergency project 4. And there is music and painting. EDIT 2: Missed a project---there were five, only I wasn't on the last one. Damn, we are a highly effective tribe and we take care of each other.
